The pants/legs, hooves and cape went on in about 10 minutes.
The latex body paint was the real time killer. It was brushed on using foam paint brushes, dried with a hair dryer, another layer, hair dryer, paint, dryer and so on. You will need a dedicated team of professional make-up artists to pull this off. Well, since I had none I relied on my wife, my kids, my sister and my folks who came to see the show.
In you notice in some photos my hands are resting on broom handles. This is highly recommended as you cannot let the latex paint come in contact with itself until completely dried. Example, you bend your elbow before it's dried and it will stick to itself and tear. Holding your arms up will get tiring in about 10 minutes.
